Nowadays, because of the advancement in technology and the speed of getting news and information, we can easily be demotivated. Yes, you hear me right!
Especially when we see our friends or our colleagues on social media - “doing well” than us.
We can be easily get affected and start to ask ourselves:
Why is it that they are more successful than me?
Why are they doing well but I am not doing well?
I worked so hard, how come my life is not as good as theirs?
If you don’t learn to protect your thoughts, it would overwhelm you!
If you don’t stop yourself, you would end up miserable and you will experience self-pity!
BE EMOTIONALLY-BULLETPROOF!
Mental health problems have dramatically increased over the years and people are committing suicide.
I heard from a friend, that his wife who is a psychiatrist, is busier now because of these mental health problems. Accordingly, she has more consultation appointments now than before.
When life is overwhelming, let us learn to be the Coffee Bean instead of the carrot or egg.
Learn to protect your thoughts.
Learn to protect your emotions.
Smile more!
