You and the Promoters are extreeeeeeme opposites! This will be your most challenging adaptation.Â
Be brave. Be focused.  Promoters can drive you crazy.
Speed up and increase your volume.
Use more inflections and more body language.
Let them talk and ramble. Do not roll your eyes.
Gently get back on track. Itâs not a trainwreck, just a sidetrack.
Laugh at jokes, donât look gloomy.
Donât correct Promoters while he is talking
Speak in generalities, not too much detail.
Loosen up and have fun.Â
If you are a Nurturer:
Remember the Promoters main aim in life is to have FUN!
You are both open, so you are both relationship and people oriented.
You can stand close to a Promoter, and touching and even hugs are okay!
You are indirect while the Promoter is direct, so pick up the pace.
Move and speak at a faster pace to match the Promoters.
Increase the confidence level of your voice.
Be upbeat.
Increase hand and body gestures.
More inflection in your voice
More eye contact.
Use testimonials, even jokes. If you donât have one, ask them for a joke!
Stress recognition
Paint the picture for them
Be exciting and excited!
Be interested in their dreams of fun and travel and recognition
If you are a Leader:
You are both direct, but Promoters are more relationship oriented.
Let the Promoter talk and ramble. You must listen. Thatâs LISTEN!
Listen if it kills you. You will build better relationship like this
Promoters and Leaders are most powerful personalities. Avoid conflict and the urge to control.
Promoters have great ideas. You put them into action for results.
Promoters are more intuitive, so let them talk about feelings. (You wonât get any on you!)
Let them tell jokes and talk about family.
Be patient. Promoters will attract people.
