Weirdly true, you are what you consume!
I had an ex-colleague, she is in Canada now.
Before she left Philippines, she had cancer. And when she migrated to Canada, she had her treatment there and she decided to study more about cancer.
She found out that the food she ate, when she was still in the Philippines, was the major contributor to her cancer.
She finally decided to change her diet, and she focused more on plant-based diet. She reduced her processed food intake, reduced canned-goods, reduced softdrinks and reduced instant noodles. Reduced sugar, reduced salt!
When you eat more sugary foods🍮🍰🍭🍫🍩, you increase your risk of developing type 2 diabetes! It’s ok to eat, but don’t eat a lot!😉
An interesting article on Harvard Business Review found out that people tend to become “hot headed” 😡 when they consume spicy foods 🌶️😱
You are what you eat!
So whatever you eat, it becomes you.
It’s not easy to change all these!
But just give it a try!
Maybe, instead of drinking softdrinks every day, 7 days a week, maybe you reduced it to 6 days a week for 1 month, then 5 days a week for another month, and so on…
Just one small change…
It’s not easy, but it’s doable!
