One of my subscribers messaged me that he learned a lot from my articles especially in dealing with different types of people.

He tried to apply what he learned but he said it was too hard for him.

Yes, I totally agree with him. Especially when you are starting. You can get Analysis Paralysis.

At first, I really felt it’s too much for me. It is such a hassle and it takes too much mental effort. To the point, I became paralysed because of too much analysis - Analysis Paralysis🤯.
In the beginning, I got confused how to respond to people because my brain was doing the following:
1. What type of person is he, a Thinker, Nurturer, Promoter, Leader?
2. What are the things or words I have to avoid so I won’t offend this person?
3. If I say this, will it be fine for him?
It required so much conscious effort😭.

Learning new things fast can be difficult but it is possible.

Did you know that anyone can learn fast! How?

I got this diagram from Google when searching “best way to learn” .

This diagram is called the Learning Pyramid. There are articles on the internet saying this is a myth but it doesn’t matter.

Accordingly:

When you are listening to a Lecture, you only learn 5%.
When you Read - 10%.
When you Listen with some Visual assistance, you learn 20%.
You learn 30% when you Demonstrate.
50% when you Discuss with a Group like group study.
When you Practice by Doing, you learn 75%.
And when you Teach Others, you learn 90%.

The BEST way to learn fast is by Teaching Others!

I don’t know what’s their method of computing the percentage but I can attest to this.

When I was still studying, I usually get good grades especially when I teach my classmates about the subject.

When you teach, you want to study and internalise the things you want to teach. In that way, you won’t make a mistake. Otherwise, you will be teaching the wrong thing.

So my tip for everyone of you reading this, if you want to learn the different types of personalities and become better fast:

Teach others about the types of personalities. Share your personal experiences. Be an expert on this subject.

When you keep on sharing this subject, your friends, family and colleagues will appreciate you because you shared with them a very important subject that will help them change their lives for the better.
